What Is Creative Shop Talk?

CST opened on January 16, 2009. We open the forum to provide one on one support and social interaction with other independent online business owners who run their own Ecommerce site.

We provide a private, non indexing, forum to discuss our own business with each other. What we do, what works, what didn't work so good, and other updates and upkeep along the way.

What we often discuss and share is about SEO marketing, hosting, domains, payment gateways, merchant accounts, customer service, shipping, business planning, time management, and all things related to our shopping cart, and online business.

We are not here to promote your business site and products, we don't index at all. We are here to be a hands on teaching and sharing support for Ecommerce business owners. If your running a stand alone site or a hosted shopping cart, and wish to share and join a great little private forum that supports independent thinking in online business ownership; we will be glad to meet you!!! We are not about auction sites and selling vendors. We also get technical in here and we do a lot of hands on learning and sharing to promote independence in our ability to run and operate our own online business.

We encourage all those who jump into Ecommerce without awareness on how to operate that shopping cart, do FTP uploads, upgrades, and many other much needed management to come share with us. We are not here to judge you or bite your head off and we really do want to see you succeed. So come on in and share and we will exchange our experiences with you. We want to help demystify the technical stuff and work on all things related to running a successful business on your own using the intenet market.

We are not here to do everything for you, but we are here to help you get a grip on your online business and all that is needed to run it successfully. All you need is the willingness to want to learn how to run your site and we will be there one step at a time with you.

We have some very hard working and talented business owners in here who have additional services such as graphic design, hosting, content management, installations, setups and more. Our members who provide additional services are also business owners who sell and manage their own products and business besides the additional services they can offer. We do not promote or endorse any service providers who do not run their own independent stores selling products outside of their own services. We also will not endorse or support any service providers who do not promote growth and independence in their services through teaching and support to help the client learn how to operate and manage their site. If you want to do it all for them and tell them what they need, we will not support your services.
