Cre Freak Service Provider Cre Loaded Installs

WWW
« on: July 03, 2008, 07:53:45 PM »

I am now certified to be an auctionblox developer/provider

So if you  want to integrate auctionblox with your eBay store, or eBay, I can help

so what is auctionblox?????

it allows you to integrate your cre loaded oscommerce site with eBay, and use third party checkout.

this allows you to have customers checkout on your site, and it has inventory control

AND you can send to eBay from your site, auctions, without having to log into eBay

Edited by Admin, added more info to this post in following post.

Auctionblox is a service offered at this site  http://www.auctionblox.com/

For more info you can either go to the main auctionblox site.  It is not a free service. There are monthly fees connected with it.

You may need to pay a service provider for the install on your oscommerce site. However Auctionblox offers that service free.

Here is more info on this at the Creloaded forum  http://forums.creloaded.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=4349/postdays=0/postorder=asc/start=0.html although looks like the thread hasn't been posted in for almost a year.

Now rather or not Ebay is going to stay ok with this depending on their own transitions and policies changes lately, with third party softwares,  I really do not know.

How much the cost of install is or what you pay for monthly fees to use it will be based a great deal on your own personal business plans.  If you choose to upload it yourself, have Auctionblox do it for free or go through a reseller like Kirk to have it installed for a fee.

If you  already have a Ebay store and are paying fees to have that store this is extra fees to use it on your cart on top of the Ebay store fees.  Some of you are transiting off Ebay, some of you are including Ebay as part of your business plans.  Either way this is a third party software that you can add to your websites, if you are using Ebay as part of your business plans.

Be sure to check around for all your options out there and what the cost would be associated with this and if you decide later not to use it if it will still show up on your site or not or if you have to uninstall it and just basically be aware of all that is included in this integration.

Here is the Auctionblox forum for more info.

better yet you could get it free and download install yourself or Auctionblox will do it for free

http://www.auctionblox.com/download.htm

Or you could sign up for a reseller account for Auctionblox here

They have new rules now, not sure you can use this. We had to take every outside party that is not connected with ebay off our websites, blogs, about me pages. We even had to take our contact me off.
If anyone elses knows more about this than me please advise.
Thanks

thanx for the info Alana, I was going to post all that info

and yes, I am still exploring all of this, and kinda putting it on hold a tiny bit, until the details are worked out with eBay about 3rd party checkout.

This service remains a viable platform until an undetermined date in 2009. Which gives another 6 months. And probably at least a year as eBay loves making heart attack changes in July (2009).

People with stand-alone sites would still find Auctionblox (and similar software) a useful a service. And if eBay goes complete draconian, sellers would have few or no qualms with cutting the connection.
